The tax consultants are members of the tax consultants’ chamber of Saxony-Anhalt and authorised by the Ministry of Finance of Saxony-Anhalt.
The statutory professional title of tax consultant or tax consultancy company were awarded in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The profession of tax consultant is essentially subject to the following provisions:

- Tax consultant’s fees regulation (StBVV)
- Professional rules (BOStB)
